I love artificial flowers for so many reasons. I have been married for almost 6 years and the bouquet and centerpiece I kept from my wedding still look the same as they did on one of the most amazing nights of my life. The others were the days that my 2 little ones were born. Here are some reasons why I love artificial flowers.
- You can do so much more after the wedding. With real flowers you love them for the day and then you throw them away and have nothing to show for the day except pictures. After my reception, I sent home a centerpiece with all the women in my life that I felt made me who I am. It was a great way to say thank you. I have also had brides that have given all their flowers to a hospital or nursing home for people that may be in need of a extra reason to smile.
- I have had many brides that turn around and sell all their flowers on craigslist or some where like that. That way, after the big day they can have a little extra money to enjoy their honeymoon or other fun married adventures.
- You can get what would normally be an expensive flower, like orchids, for a lot less money and you can get them any time of the year. Unlike real flowers, artificial flowers are always in season!
